HUMSOC

At the Oxford University Hindu Society, we understand the importance of exploring and celebrating this ancient culture in a dynamic, fun way. Our cultural events are designed to provide a unique and interactive experience that immerses our members in the rich and diverse traditions of Hinduism.

Through our academic events, we explore various aspects of Hinduism, including its history, philosophy, art, and literature. We invite scholars and experts to deliver talks, host workshops, and lead discussions on topics ranging from Vedic scriptures to classical dance forms.

We also organize fun and interactive events that celebrate various festivals and cultural practices. We celebrate festivals such as Navratri, Raksha Bandhan, and Janmashtami with enthusiasm and joy. Our events feature traditional music and dance performances, delicious food, and interactive activities such as dandiya and garba. These events provide an opportunity for our members to not only celebrate our culture but also connect with each other and create lasting memories.
